What Do You Do With Them?

What Do You Do With Them?

We get asked this question a lot at the Farmers’ Market. The answer is “There are countless ways to use microgreens!”
People use them as snacks – particularly the crunchy sunflowers (our dogs even love them as a treat). Customers use them in shakes for extra protein. They use them as toppings on sandwiches, salads, burgers, pizza, eggs, avocados, salads, and even pancakes! Add them to entrees for extra flavor or to highlight a dish. Our Asian, garden, Hero, Italian, Rainbow, and Spicy Microgreen Mixes can be used as individual salads or as a supplement for any salad or entree. Microgreens are a very versatile, nutritious way to eat healthy. Let your imagination run free.
You can get Motor City Micro Farm microgreens at any Zerbos Market location, Papa Joes-Birmingham, Plum Markets, and Westborn Markets, and you can also get them home delivered through Market Wagon, the online farmers’ market.

They come in a variety of flavors, from spicy radish to sweet basil, and can be grown from many different types of seeds, such as herbs, vegetables, and even some flowers. Due to their high nutrient content and versatility, microgreens have become a popular choice among chefs and home cooks looking to add a gourmet touch to their meals.
