Tatsoi Is the New Spinach (Haven’t You Heard?)

Tatsoi. Sometimes we just need to talk about a vegetable because it’s fun to say. So what is it? Tatsoi is a member of the Brassica family—along with mustard greens and Brussel Sprouts. It has a buttery texture and a slightly sweet, mustardy flavor.
One of the most popular uses of tatsoi microgreens in the kitchen is as a seasoning which can give a fresh zing of taste to salads and grilled dishes that you may eat during the summer months.
If you want to improve the sandwiches that you make as a snack, you can do so using tatsoi microgreens. Simply sprinkling them on top of your favorite filling helps to create a better all-round flavor.

You can order Tatsoi microgreens online with home delivery along with any of our 20+ varieties of microgreens at Market Wagon or during the summer at our booth at the Birmingham Farmers Market.

…and you can taste the difference! There are some microgreens growers that grow their greens hydroponically in water using liquid fertilizers, water stabilizers and other chemicals. We grow in soil without the use of any fertilizers, chemicals, insecticides or pesticides. We use the same water
