Growing 32+ varieties of microgreens sustainabily in Detroit

Have You Tried Cantaloupe Microgreens?

You might be surprised, but there’s a type of tiny green plant called a microgreen that tastes like melon. It’s the cantaloupe microgreen! It’s important to pick these little greens when they are just budding, about 2 and a half inches tall, because if they grow too much, they start to taste bitter. These cantaloupe microgreens can make your fruit salads extra special, or give a fresh twist to your sherbet or ice cream. Give them a try! We’ll be selling them at the Birmingham Farmers Market starting Sunday, May 5.
