Growing 32+ varieties of microgreens sustainabily in Detroit

What We Grow

We’ve been asked many times about what kinds of microgreens we grow. In total, we currently have 31 different microgreen varieties under cultivation, but not all are readily available to the general public. Our grocery store partners offer a limited combination of the many different varieties we grow. They only have so much shelf space. We grow some varieties exclusively for our produce wholesalers and our restaurant and private chef clients. There is a ray of sunshine, however! We plan to offer most of our 31 varieties to the general public at the farmers’ markets we participate in this summer.

Here’s the current list:
Amaranth, Arugula, Basil, Beet, Broccoli, Red Cabbage, Cantaloupe, Cilantro, Cress, Dill, Fennel, Fenugreek, Kale, Kohlrabi, Leek, Marigold, Mizuna, Mustard, Nasturtium, Pak Choi, Parsley, Peas, Radish – 3 varieties, Shiso, Sorrel, Swiss Chard, Sunflower, Tatsoi, Wheatgrass.
